AAUW Tech Trek Camp

@ Stockton University

Tech Trek Camp will be in-person
July 21 – 27, 2024 at Stockton University

Tech Trek, the one-week summer camp for eighth grade girls, will be held July 21-27 on the
campus of Stockton University. The girls will reside on campus, where they will attend daily
STEM core classes, engage in hands-on activities, participate in field trips and interact with
female STEM role models. The girls are nominated by their seventh grade teachers in order to
apply, and must sit for an interview. The costs of Tech Trek are funded by NJ AAUW branches,
member donations, Stockton University, and corporate sponsors so the cost to a camper’s family is only $50.

Our Freehold branch donates $1000 each year to this program . It’s always uplifting to meet these young women of our future. Trudy Iwanski and Pat Clarfield interviewed a young lady from East Brunswick.  She has been accepted into the program and has registered for the camp.
